Busy, Lancashire pub with lots of atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Ed the Manager and all the restaurant staff. The food was excellent, good choice and quality. Our accommodation was lovely all you needed for an overnight stay. Thank you

Great location

Bed & pillows could be a bit more comfortable

The location was great and the welcome / information we received on our arrival at the property was excellent! There was a great breakfast hamper left for us, too.

The room was really noisy - we were next to the staff room / kitchen and there was thumping music from the moment of our arrival until midnight. We didn’t have any sugar or coffee cups, and the shower door did not close. The room would also benefit from a ‘do not disturb sign’ as the housekeeper let themselves into our room while we were in the middle of getting ready.

Ed and Laura were incredibly welcoming when we arrived, all 3 of the rooms we booked were amazing! We had a meal at pub on the first night and the food was incredible! My wife is gluten and dairy intolerant so finding out the menu was either gluten free or gluten free options available was such a relief for her!
