Fantastic place to stay very clean room and bathroom. Only thing very chintzy inside. Needs updating. Breakfast was delicious

A lovely hotel with a cracking pub. Only gripe was we had to wait 45mins for our breakfast but once it arrived all was forgiven as it was sooo nice.

We were welcomed and staff were lovely and attentive. We had dinner and lunch and all was very tasty and well presented

Avoid avoid avoid. Please see photos. Instant musty/damp smell on arrival so much so the first thing i did was walk back out to the local shop and brought an airfreshener that i left behind for future unknowing guests. Window didnt close fully Damaged taps Fixtures with missing lights Both bed frames terribly damaged Heavy soiling/stains on nearly all the chairs Thick dust on surfaces/remote Bath dirty Light broken I have attached pictures for evidence. Dont make the same mistake i did. The lovely outside disguises the terrible indoor conditions. I will never stay here again

Nice hotel very friendly

nice traditional pub hotel with friendly staff and very handy for Pagham Harbour nature reserve. Rather dated room decor and fittings but perfectly comfy and well equipped. Tasty cheese omlette for breakfast!

Happy to take my money before telling me the kitchen is closed due to staff issues. If id have known id have gone else where. The room wasnt clean and very dated. Wallpaper hanging off the wall, fan in bathroom not working. Throughout the night there was a dreadfull noise every hour or so that sounded like a boiler or something. Very disapointed

We were thrilled with this hotel. Our room was upgraded to one which was huge and with a massive bed. Decor was very Louis XIV. We were sorry that we'd only booked for one night and would definitely return. Pleased, too, that the eggs were from rescued battery hens, and that dogs were permitted.

Great location clean rooms, but very dated the shower was just a trickle. The young staff at breakfast were not very friendly band no service with a smile, the cooked breakfast was very nice but the buffet table is quite basic! No fruit or yoghurt, only cheap marmalade no ham and very basic brown and tomato sauce in little china pots
