Nothing - everything was absolutely fine

The staff were very friendly and helpful when we booked in whilst clearly very busy and under pressure. The room was lovely and clean. As it was a really hot evening. It was a big bonus to find a fan in the wardrobe. We have stayed before and will return.

I didn't have breakfast, so can't comment. Unfortunately, there were no milk pods with the coffee-making facilities in the room which I didn't notice until I came to make the coffee when I woke up. I decided to spare the staff the presence of me in my jim-jams and had my coffee black. No great hardship. The shower is a bit blocked, with the tray filling up rather alarmingly. Still, a good way to wash the feet! The room was small, but perfectly formed and well-equipped (subject to the missing milk pods), but I thought rather overpriced. But then I don't know B-on-Sea, and that could be the going rate for the area. So, the main plus point is the staff: very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Easy check in, plenty of parking, outside space and bar area are lovely.

Room was at the back of the pub, kitchen fans right underneath the bedroom windows going from 6.30ish in the morning which woke us up.

Bathroom taps loose. Shower took ages to warm up

Bedrooms were fine. Restaurant area was pleasant

Staff not trained well. Twice had to complain about food service- missing cutlery- lack of various things like butter. Very slapdash. Policy for breakfasts annoying, ie, if you order cooked breakfast and have cornflakes whilst you wait it incurs extra charge. Never had that before- anywhere.
