Busby Hotel

Staff, facilities, cleanliness and comfort all exceptional. Checking in receptionist couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast and dinner both good and dining room staff all good. System won't let me rate optional questions.

Have never before stayed in a hotel which charges per room rather than per person - completely understand about a single person paying the full amount for occupying a room meant for two but never before known a single person be expected to pay for two inclusive breakfasts. Also - never before been expected to pay for what are normally complimentary nibbles (chocolate and peanuts) in addition to the room charge.

We liked everything about it.

Soundproofing between rooms is not the best so when the children of the family in the adjacent room turned the TV on at 5.30am it became very difficult to sleep in our room. However this is more to do with inconsiderate guests than any fault of the hotel.

Breakfast was lovely and staff whr very helpful

Nice room, stayed in the Argyle suite. Staff very friendly. Clean room and very nice bathroom and shower.

Not that im complaining. However couple things to improve maye. Theres no door between the toilet and room. Little awkward. Secondly they use central heating and it comes on and off as an when. However it was not sufficient for this time of year. Room was freezing most of the night.

The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The hotel felt homely and warm.
