The Bellachroy is perfectly situated and accessible between Calgary beach and Tobermory. There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. Every member of staff is attentive and friendly. I loved the games room/ library and the botanical stylish decor throughout the hotel. Even the quiet background music at breakfast is well considered. There’s a real community spirit with encouragement to try local restaurants. We had the best stay and will return.

Exceptional place to stay and for us the location was perfect. Highly recommend staying here. We are really impressed with the efforts the team does to support the local community and for us to have the opportunity to try local foods and beverages. A great place to unwind after a day of exploring with a fantastic meal or just a pint or two in the pub.

The location and condition of this old inn were excellent! As were the very attentive staff.

With our bedroom in the eaves it was impossible to sit up in bed due to the slope. Either look to resite the bed or make it a single.

Very friendly and efficient owners and staff, delicious breakfasts and dinners made with locally sourced produce, great location for exploring the north of Mull.

We would have liked more hooks and warm places to dry out damp outdoor clothes and a heated towel rail in the bathroom. Also lacked a light above the mirror in the bathroom. Bedroom and bathroom could have been a wee bit warmer/cosier.

Fantastic well refurbished hotel; great amenities and very dog friendly. Amazing hotel with great staff and warm welcome. Bar and food in house was great and really enjoyed. Location is great for exploring the island.

Nice restaurant and lounge/public bar with outdoor tables too. Friendly staff and owners. Mostly good breakfasts and dinners. Close to some nice attractions and scenery. Nice residents lounge for reading etc on rainy days. Some nearby local restaurants.

Food could be a bit variable. Locals in public bar can be loud and some using offensive language. No TV screens in room or residents lounge and internet not too reliable (remote location means signal issues- not owners fault). The main issue we found was the soundproofing between rooms, which was poor, particularly with shower piping in walls.

Beautiful environs and staff were all super nice and friendly. Very clean and comfortable.

The location was a short drive from Tobermorry but if not used to narrow roads could seem long a long 20 minute drive
