Had breakfast one morning good selection & dinner very good. Hot tub was on & waiting for us whenever you wanted it Notified reception of loose thermostatic valve on bath, maintenance man arrived & fixed within minutes.

Few cobwebbs on the ceilings! No chopping board in kitchen

Hot tub and lodge in great condition , very clean.

Needs bath mat for both bathrooms inside the shower and bath to prevent slips especially when you have children. Bath mats for getting out the shower. Nothing to put on the floor so Lino very wet and slippy. And Desperately need hand towels in the bathrooms also , nothing to dry hands on. As a None pet owner the amount of dog hair on carpet in lounge was a little Off putting.

Although this place was nice from the pictures it didn’t reflect at all on how it actually was, when we have stopped at other sites the pictures on the booking has corresponds with the actual caravan this place led us to believe it was something it wasn’t at all .

The quality of the caravan and the cleanliness was disappointing and quite dirty , the WiFi which states has don’t work so we had to complain quite a few times before was offered a booster, kettle was full of floating bits as needed a descale , the microwave was full of melted butter , dish washer was like sick was disgustingly dirty with food… the carpet was filthy the mattress has big dip on one side mould in washer gap around actually caravan door so let loads cold air in, the list goes on .

The site is mainly quiet and peaceful, staff are helpful. Onsite hotel/bar has a nice atmosphere and the attached salon does an amazing hot stone massage

We booked a signature lodge on the lake but its now quite worn and in need of a seriously good clean. Had to go to reception for tv remotes being broken and one without batteries, fridge would not get properly cold after checking found the seal was split. Dishwasher needs a good clean to get rid of the residual scum. The hob burners will not stay on unless you lift the grates and then put them back on once they are lit. Double bed had an extra quilt under the base sheet but was still quite uncomfortable and you could feel the springs. Bathroom needs a proper scrub to get rid of the mould. Staff were great and dealt with remotes and missing hand towels instantly. Also found a previous guests dirty dog coat in the shoe cupboard with a large empty flower box and a childs toy covered in dog hair under the sofa. We will go back to the site but would not go to a signature lodge. Its the second time in the same lodge (24) and its just very tired and needs some attention
