The Spinnaker Hotel

Location was superb. Frequent public transport to travel north or south. Parking available near to the property. Very good breakfast.

Nothing of note. There was refurbishment going on but that is a positive.

It’s a good place as a stopover when travelling long distances. Very convenient for the shops at Port Glasgow, while being in a much nicer area. We spent time in Largs first, and that’s very near. This is a friendly place with lots of character. It’s obvious the locals love it too. We really like the rooms facing the water and watching the boats. Beautiful view! The room and bed were very comfortable, and the shower was very good too. We had an evening meal and breakfast - both were very good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We parked in the road, which was fine and handy too.

The location was excellent - right on the waterfront and ten minutes walk to the station and town centre - and there is a good restaurant on site. Staff were super friendly. The room was ok. I knew it was small so that was no surprise. The bathroom was excellent and bigger than expected.

No fault of the hotel but they had a ceiling collapse just before I arrived so there was work going on for the first part of my stay. Pillows were not comfortable.

What's not to like.... The room, the shower, the staff, the food are all amazing. My 2nd time staying there and would not hesitate to stay again next time I'm up in Scotland 🥰
