Haughton Arms Hotel

Nice hotel. Great location in the town centre. Lovely room

Breakfasts were ok but not great. We had an issue with payment through no fault of the hotel - I’d paid through Booking.com & got a receipt but the hotel weren’t sent the correct details. The manager raised a complaint against me even though it was Booking.com’s problem. I sorted it out & got no thanks or acknowledgment from the hotel.

Breakfast atmosphere was nice

It would be nice to have food served later but I understand most people eat earlier in the evening unlike my family

The hotel it’s self was lovely clean, cosy rooms

I was put in a room above the bar with music playing and loads of noise until 1am, I spoke to manager about this and now looking at some of the reviews it seems to be a problem, as the hotel wasn’t busy the could have used common sense and not use that room

Property was good , staff were excellent

Unfortunately we had a family meal in the hotel there were 11 of us , And u have never been so disappointed , we waited an hour for our first coarse and the quality was terrible , I complained in the morning

Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent. No complaints with the evening meals. Room had everything we needed and bed was very comfortable. Recommended.

Honestly got nothing to say here. Ok, the shower was small and the shower clamp had given up the ghost but these are minor issues in the greater scheme of things.
