There was nothing to dislike

GBThe staff from the minute we arrived were amazing. The swimming pool was a big hit with my daughter.
Some of the interior could do with fixing up - for example, rips in the chair covers, fake wall / planter box things in the dining room needs painting. Skirting boards etc. Would have been good if the restaurant opened earlier as my daughter couldn’t wait until 6:45pm to eat.

Not being in the main hotel. We were not told when booked that we would be in a chalet at the back of the hotel.
GBThe staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is opposite the bus stop to go into town. Comfortable rooms, though being in June and supposed to be summer the heating was off. Would have liked the heated towel rail to be warm

Issues with house keeping found discarded sweets and rubbish under beds .. no heating on first night -given a replacement electric heater. Second night CH came on but not in bathroom .. hard pillows not regular shape .. new carpet would improve room
GBGBMeals were varied and well prepared, I particularly enjoyed the lamb , tasty with lots of side vegetables. Staff were attentive and helpful, I am gluten intolerant, and was offered appropriate alternatives when possible. The room was spacious and comfortable. We even enjoyed the choice of background music played during dinner!
Pillows on the bed could have been slightly more comfortable, but that was a minor gripe really. The curtains in our room did need to be fixed as they were hanging down slightly , again just a minor comment.
