No breakfast was on offer here as no chef was employed. Hotel was not clean, rooms were uncomfortable with very noisy plumbing and screeching fans in bathrooms which could not be switched off so sleep was poor. Beds were uncomfortable with poor fitting bedding. An 80 year old fell off an unseen step on exit which was labelled as an emergency exit but was left unlit.

Just about everything was wrong here. Place is for sale and the owners seem to have given up trying.

Location Garden Good size room Dog friendly

Radiator didn't work Bathroom fan made a lot of noise Very uncomfortable bed TV remote control did not work Lamp went flickering on and off all the time No breakfast offered, compared to last time. No other breakfast available in village on a Sunday. Very noisy above a bar. Also noisy around bedroom areas . No soundproofing.

"We would stay again it’s just a shame they don’t offer breakfast"

The staff were all very friendly and helpful The restaurant food was good and good value

The music in the garden was extremely loud and they did try to fix it but to no avail
