Food in the restaurant was great, the beer was well kept and the live music was good but not overwhelming. The room was well maintained and spotlessly clean. Staff were very helpful and seemed to genuinely care about guests and customers (who were a mix of locals and travellers). The beer was well kept. The location is within easy striking distance of Wetherby, but more importantly for us was close to Stockeld Park, a great local attraction for kids. There are lovely walks around the local area and the pub provides free maps for these

There isn't much to say and nothing really to complain about. The beer range could perhaps have been more adventurous, but the three cask ales were well kept
