Great spot - food was excy

Gorgeous place to stay. The food was amazing and will definitely stay again

Every single member of staff we met was great - friendly, attentive, and efficient. Really unusual! The place is an attractive local pub, busy but not overwhelming. The room was good, with unusually good supplies of tea &c. Good home cooking, both in evening and for breakfast.

We didn't know in advance, and turned out they stop serving dinner at 6pm on Sunday. They called us at 6pm to tell us, and we happened to be parking at the hotel. A close shave, but they were superb, putting our bags behind the scenes and getting us sat down with menus,

The food was excellent both for our evening meal and our breakfasts. It is in a lovely little village near Wetherby but not walkable. There was plenty of safe car parking. All the staff were just lovely and really friendly.

We were in a newish extension but the windows didn't fit very well so were difficult to open and were single glazed. The WIFI was appalling even though they gave us a booster. For this reason, we would not stay there again, sadly. Serving times for food were not very good and they closed way to early for us. Last orders were for 6 pm.

The staff were so helpful, polite and very caring to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The evening meal in the restaurant was first class as was the breakfast.

The only thing that I did not like was that the Scott's Arms village inn was not in my home town.

Only one light in the bathroom.
