Great place staff exceptional

Clean, good food, friendly staff. The public rooms and furnishings have character. Bedroom was small but functional.

It’s an old building, so any other guests moving about later than you will have the floorboards creaking and the pipes gurgling (the room above ours was particularly bad in that respect).

I am an awkward eater and the hotel made every effort it to accommodate. Breakfast was amazing. Thank you.

Nothing really. I slept so well. The staff were laid back, but also attentive and professional. In the evening it was so nice to just go downstairs and enjoy a drink. Our cavaliers were fussed and given water and biscuits. Will definitely be returning

We’ve stayed here a number of times and like The Castle. Good location. Eynsford is a delightful Kentish village.

Our room only had a bath with a handheld shower. We should have said we wanted a room with a shower when booking

The location was great for our weekend of racing at Brands Hatch and provided us with a break away from the track. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff and general ambiance were lovely.

Our room was a ‘small double’ which it was. The size was not the issue, but the heat was and also the droning from the kitchen extractor fan below. A room fan was available. The kitchen fan did go off around 10pm but obviously started up again at around 7am ready for breakfast service. Every little thing you could want in your room was provided.

Room 6 was tiny, hot weather very hot & noisy with the kitchen extraction
