Stunning location. Super staff.

Bins weren’t emptied in the room. Had old nappies in there. Also, too busy but that’s our fault for booking in half term

The location and friendliness of the staff, a great cooked breakfast. A great size room.

Could do with a lick of paint. We had a very large room that could have done with an extras table for the tea and coffee making facilities but instead were crammed into the dressing table, also a shelf in the bathroom would have been good so our toiletries/ wash bag didn’t have to be on the floor.

Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen: das nette Personal, das Zimmer mit dem tollen Ausblick und bequemen Bett, das Frühstück, die wunderschöne Landschaft ringsherum.

Location is stunning and the surroundings are beyond beautiful. Very comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. Me and my eight-year-old son stayed here for our Scaffel Pike climb, and he loved the pool table.

My own fault for not having a better look at Google maps but the drive to Wasdale for our morning start of our climb was almost an hour and a half whereas I thought we were much closer.

The location is excellent for hikes out of Buttermere. Breakfast was really good and the staff was very attentive.

We paid a premium to stay there but because of the location and breakfast, it was worth it.

Great location. Free parking. Good food and good choice of drinks. The room was the family room which was large and accommodated 3 adults easily.

The only minor gripe was the thinness of the dividing wall between the rooms which allowed noise transfer from next door which was quite audible at times.

Fabulous location, room was lovely and spotlessly clean, the duvet and bedding were just gorgeous, we were met by Asia who Was delightful, breakfast was served by Malcolm, just the right mix of cheekiness and courtesy! Also we emailed and asked if we could be swapped to a double from a twin, they made up the zip and link for us so we had a king size, great service and we really appreciated it.
