Friendly staff.

Facilities limited for number of guests. Only four loungers in the relaxation room and only three in the heated lounger room. Poolside sauna capacity only 6-8 persons in any comfort. Telephone in room covered in dust and obviously not wiped for some time. No fridge in room for fresh milk or cooling water.

The breakfast was good and the pool area was good. The bed was very comfortable and the house and grounds very picturesque.

The room was tiny and the bathroom wasn't cleaned very well. The Shower didn't work properly (no hot water) which made it useless frankly. The facilities in the room left a lot to be desired, all the electronic equipment like the TV and Phone system were very old. TV only had the basic freeview channels and no Internet TV of any kind. The staff in the Spa were disinterested at best. The restaurant was extremely overpriced for what it was. I ordered a fillet steak for £43 pounds and all it came with was a pretty small piece of steak, one large mushroom and a whole grilled tomato cut in half. You had to pay extra if you wanted chips or veggies/salad. So just for one small piece of steak, a mushroom and a tomato plus and extra side order, just to get chips came to almost £50!! And tbh the steak had no flavour and was overcooked.
