The Stag Head Hotel

Location was amazing. Waking to the sound of waves crashing on the beach outside. Handy having pub downstairs. Food available. Recommend the Fish n Chip deal with cup of tea. Excellent value.

The shower room. No windows. Fan inefficient so moldy ceiling etc. May only have been my floor. Other showers may have been ok.

All staff were friendly and helpful. We Had a drink in the bar which had a nice relaxed vibe . great location for queensferry.

There was no shower in the room and filling a bath was time consuming ( not a massive deal) The room was dated as hotel is old and had a bit of character but it was clean.

Very clean and cosy rooms. Walking distance to train station for smooth journey to Edinburgh. Block out blinds were awesome

What a little gem in beautiful Queensferry! I was visiting Edinburgh for a quick city break and saw The Stag on booking.com and thought I would give it a go. The staff were amazing so friendly and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. I think I was the only one in on the night I stayed had a shared bathroom to myself, this wouldn’t bother me anyway if there were others staying. Food and drinks were very good price. For breakfast try the bakery next door also excellent. Great views of the famous bridge too!
