Directions: From the A1 (M) exit at Junction 47 take the A59 for Harrogate At the roundabout, take the A658 until the roundabout with the A661 Follow the A661 to Harrogate until the roundabout for the A6040 Turn left over the next roundabout into Otley Road The lodge is located at The Pine Marten, on the left opposite the church Please note that a cooked breakfast may be available for an additional fee which can be paid directly at the hotel. "A characterful property in a good location."

The breakfast and dinner were well prepared and presented. The staff were very helpful and polite.

The shower tray was clean but had evidence of black mould.

Building and gardens beautiful.

Toilet flush sticky, and water pressure in washbasin very poor. Tv diffucult to view, fixed to wall at an angle from bed, which meant keeping head at an angle.
