"Great location"

Comfy bed, lovely shower, our attic room on the second floor was adequate with half a dozen clothes hangers on a small rail. We were only there one night so it didn't matter that there was no wardrobe. We enjoyed a lovely evening dinner in the restaurant which was excellently presented.

The choice was limited. No fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal or porridge. No bread or toast. Not particularly good value although what we had was very good and thoroughly enjoyable. .

"Enjoyable stay at an interesting pub!"

Interesting building, nice room and bathroom, good food. Very close to RHS Harlow Carr.

Poor service at breakfast. We got a free upgrade to a larger room (10) but part of this room is very dark so it isn’t possible to sit on the sofa(bed) to read or see the tv!
