Casitas de Montaña Cabuya

It is in a very peaceful location. A cosy cabin surrounded by wildlife. Only 4 cabins and I have the place to myself. The breakfast was delicious and the staff are very friendly and helpful. You would need a 4wd , although they were doing some work on the road. Arrive during daylight hours and you definitely do not want to drive in the dark. It’s around 4km from the hustle and bustle of Monteverde. Perfect for me.

L’emplacement de cet hébergement est situé à quelques kilomètres du centre de la Fortuna et c’est un vrai plus. L’environnement y est calme et la nature luxuriante. Le personnel de l’hôtel est vraiment sympathique.

Localização afastada. O acesso não é fácil, a estrada é de barro, o que pode causar problemas com atolamentos.

It was the most peaceful stay we had in Costa Rica. We enjoyed the amazing view, the peace and quiet of the mountains and the starry skies at night. The owners are extremely friendly and we could really feel their hospitality. We enjoyed our breakfasts there and also had dinner a few times. Everything was delicious. We also used their laundry service, which was fine.

The road to the accommodation is very difficult. Thanks to our experience of off-road driving, we managed to get there in a standard high-clearance car, but I would recommend a 4x4. The room was lovely, but you shouldn't stay there if you're afraid of insects or spiders. There were plenty in ours.
