You feel like you leave in a magical different era! Great friendly staff! Exellent good at their restaurant!

Madama Residence is an excellent hotel and restaurant right in the heart of Nicosia. Coming from Finland, I was pleasantly surprised by how much it reminded me of elegant Italian hotels—warm hospitality, stylish rooms, and great attention to detail. The atmosphere is cozy yet refined, and the food is outstanding. A perfect place to stay if you want comfort, character, and a touch of Italy in the middle of the city.

Location, room and breakfast - very good!

Sometimes with the service. But the night manager is really friendly and helpful.

Rein gar nichts, weil es trotz bestätigter Buchung von booking.com bei unserer Anreise um ca. 13. Uhr am 13.11. für die Nacht vom 13. auf den 14.11.2025 kein verfügbares Zimmer gab. Zusätzlich erhielten wir per Mail von booking.com am 28.10.2025 „eine neue Nachricht von Madama Residence“, in der es u.a. hieß: „Your reservation for Thursday 13 November 2025 to Friday 14 November 2025 Is now confirmed.“ Bei unserer Ankunft behauptete die Dame an der Rezeption, dass wir laut ihrem Reservierungsplan für die Nacht vom 14. auf den 15.11.2025 gebucht hätten. Nach Vorlage der von uns mitgebrachten Buchungsbestätigungen war sie überrascht und wollte das Durcheinander mit booking.com abklären, was unserer Meinung nach nicht nötig war, da dass Hotel doch selbst noch eine eigene Bestätigung gesandt hatte. Dennoch bestand sie darauf, eine Klärung herbeizuführen, was ungefähr eine Stunde dauerte und ergebnislos endete. Dieser Versuch einer Klärung war in dem Moment für uns völlig irrelevant, da es für die gebuchte Nacht ohnehin kein freies Zimmer gab. Wir mussten uns dann selbst um eine Alternative in Nikosia kümmern. Eine mehr als unschöne Erfahrung mit Madama Residence, die uns an diesem Tag mit mehr als drei Stunden belastete.

Restaurant fine. Breakfast served on small street terrace was great.

What a wonderful place absolutely fabulous.

It’s a little hard to find at first but it is located just where it needs to be, close enough to the hub shops and restaurants.
