Hotel Château Georgette

It is located in the Paul Valley and here probably the best hotel. It is spacious and clean.

Breakfast is simple. To get hot water for tea is not easy. Staff does not really understand english and a little nederlands. They call it chateau but it isn't.

Le temps était pluvieux et dans la chambre 204 innondation par la baie vitrée fermée. Moisissures ds le placard. Et ds la douche.Aucun rangement pour poser nos affaires Chambre 201 l.eu passe sous la porte de la douche Le ménage est à peu près....

Lokalizacja hotelu jest bardzo fajna - w dolinie Paul, nie tak daleko od szlaków. Dodatkowo jest to najbardziej wyszukany i "fancy" obiekt, w którym zatrzymaliśmy się podczas naszego pobytu. Pokój był bardzo ładny, duży i czysty. Basen i fotele do masażu są naprawdę komfortowe i można z nich korzystać przez cały dzień.

Jak na taki standard hotelu wydaje się to być nie do pomyślenia, że trzeba płacić za butelkę wody, która jest zostawiona w pokoju i to 3x więcej niż cena sklepowa (!). Dodatkowo śniadanie jest raczej skromne, a potrawy niedoprawione, np. sałatki nie mają żadnego dressingu. Co też mnie uderzyło to to, że przy zameldowaniu personal hotelu patrzył na nas raczej z pewną rezerwą i niezbyt miło. Podejrzewam, że dlatego, iż podróżowaliśmy z plecakami, a nie wyglądaliśmy jak typowy "bogaty obcokrajowiec", mimo, że mieliśmy wykupiony prawie najlepszy pokój. W wielu miejscach o znacznie niższym standardzie personel był milszy i bardziej sympatyczny.

Room space - The room is a good size. Personally, I liked the structure of the building. The communal dining and bar area is very pleasant, in a quiet location close to some great walking spots.

The property is absolutely beautiful and decorated with love. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel’s location is perfect for hiking and exploring the area.

Personnel très gentil, hôtel offrant des prestations sans égal sur l'île. Super décoration, piscine très agréable à nos retours de rando. La qualité de la restauration est vraiment top avec des prix incroyablementcorrect. L'hôtel est vraiment magnifique, on a eu du mal à en partir contrairement à d'autres sur Santo Antao ou sur Mindelo. Endroit génial pour se reposer et se ressourcer.

Un lieu tout simplement magnifique ! Le Château-Georgette est idéalement situé, au calme, avec une vue superbe. Les propriétaires et le personnel sont adorables, toujours souriants et disponibles. Un vrai havre de paix que je recommande sans hésiter !
