Luxstay Karben - Self-Check-In

Spacious, modern room in a very quiet location close to great jogging routes. The staff is exceedingly friendly and the bed was divine. Milage may vary, but I also had some very pleasant conversations with the owner.

The trust at the self service bar to pay for what you drank. The self check in. (but only if you dont run into any trouble ;))

what happend in case you left your card in room and lock yourself out (possible at any time) There werent (at least I didnt see them ) any instruction in case the customer left the "Happy path" (Check in here, see there) but nothing: "in case Problem X happens, do that"

Clean and comfortable

We had two rooms. Top floor has air-conditioning and was wonderful but the one on the second floor did not and it was way too hot to sleep. I can understand that in this part of Europe air-conditioning or a fan use to be optional but with summers becoming hotter, an air-conditioning becomes a necessity for a convenient stay.

Breakfast was very good. Plenty of food, great coffee, service was excellent.

We arrived during a heat wave. Our room didn't have airconditioning. Fans were not offered. Found out a few days later that the rooms upstairs did have AC. Would have been nice to have the option of moving when a room came available.
