Hotel Gerbe

It was very clean in general, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Nice indoor swimming pool and sauna.

Te staff hardly spoke English. The town has no interest and is far away from the lake. The hotel is a bit pricey for what is worth.

Don’t expect a super modern hotel but it is very consistent in their quality and cleanliness. We return every year and are greeted by the same staff, which I can appreciate. The rooms have an old fashioned ski resort charm but they are roomy and very clean. Lots of options at the breakfast buffet and they have a really nice spa area with a swimming pool.

We had the best experience at the Gerbe. Lovely staff, rooms and amenities. The rooms very large size. We got breakfast included, it had a lot of verity and was super fresh. We have a great German dinner at night. The kids loved the pool area and gardens. Thank you!

The place is awesome to stay and we really enjoyed our dinners there. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and confortable. The building in general is well maintained. Reservation for dinner is a must as sometimes the dinning room is completely full, specially during weekends. We will stay there again in our next visit to Hamradio fair.

The hotel is located very close to the Friedrichshafen Messe, so it is a fantastic place if you need to be there for an exhibition. The rooms have old furniture but I found them clean and without noise in the night. Breakfast and dinner were great, good food in the garden. Reccomended

It was standard German food, but was so basic. The lack of any vegetables or any more than processed potato products was lacking by any standard. Food was expensive. The hotel is classic German and quite old world but nice if that's what you want.

The hotel is about 3 away from the lake, quite old and very expensive for what it is (old furniture, ridiculously small TV, deficient wifi). Gardens are well maintained and you can rent bikes. Sauna amd swimming pool are very nice. Staff is ok, except the owner who calls you at 10:57am in your room yelling "check out is at 11am !! I am waiting for you". I have travelled and slept in numerous hotels and countries, I had never experienced such a thing.

A 4* stars hotel plenty of charming. In the campaign close to Bodensee, close to the Messe also. Old style in the hotel but very clean and a lot of space. The rooms are well organized and clean. Price from 100€ roughly for a single room Fitness room, sauna are also proposed.

It is a nice typical German Hotel in this region. Location is comparably worse as being 10-15 min drive from Lake. Rooms are old fashioned but clean and tidy. Small but convenient for a short stay. Breakfast was average for German standards. The garden is promising. I recommend this hotel for short visits to the town.

Very clean, spacious and well equipped rooms. (Number 71) Nice and quiet on an evening, no traffic noise. Friendly staff, all very helpful and polite. Good breakfast and the evening meal in the restaurant was fantastic. Not had a steak as good for a long time. Overall 5 stars and excellent value as well.
