Borkum Island is partially car free. Please note that the schedule for Borkum’s Island ferry is continually changing, as ferry-crossing times are dependent on the tides. The travel time from Emden Ferry Port to Borkum Island is approximately 130 minutes, including a ride on the Island’s Inselbahn (train). Guests can leave their cars at Emden Ferry Port, which has a large car park. Please note that your credit card will not be charged by this site at any time. Credit card details are only required to secure the booking, and payment is due at the hotel. "Für 4 Sterne nicht angemessen!!"

Die Lage war okay. Das Personal war nett. Verschiedene Lichteinstellungen im Bad.

Die Ausstattung war schlecht. Kein Kühlschrank. Kein kaffeeservice im Zimmer. Sitzmöbel quietschen. Keine Steckdose am Bett, Nachttisch viel zu niedrig und wackelig. Vorhänge haben nicht komplett verdunkelt. KEINESFALLS 4 STERNE UND DEN PREIS WERT.

Nach wie vor ist die Lage des Hotels einmalig... Einige Langjährige Mitarbeiter sind nach wie vor Kompetent freundlich und Hilfsbereit

Der Service in der Hotelbar und die neuen Regeln im Sauna Bereich waren sehr anstrengend bis unverständlich...

"Ein paar Tage pure Erholung"

Sehr gute Lage direkt an der Promenade - das war der Grund, warum ich es ausgewählt hatte. SEHR bequeme Betten, sehr gutes, reichhaltiges Frühstück, das lange zur Verfügung stand. Das Hotel verfügt über einen eigenen Wellnessbereich und stellt dazu Bademäntel zur Verfügung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Ich verstehe, dass die Lage direkt am Strand zu Gischt- und Wasserflecken außen an den Fensterscheiben führen kann. Komischerweise waren die Fenster vom Restaurant (selbe Ausrichtung zum Strand) aber sauber. Zum Glück gabs einen Balkon, so dass man auch ohne Scheibe dazwischen gucken konnte ;). Vermisst habe ich ansonsten nur eine Kofferablage im Zimmer - diesen lege ich zum Ein- oder Auspacken nur ungern aufs Bett.

"Fantastisch 🤩"

Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit Meerblick! Mit vielen liebevollen Kleinigkeiten, die einem das Leben leichter und schöner machen! Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und angemessen eingerichtet! Das Frühstück war einfach nur fantastisch, der Service war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich! Und praktisch von jedem Tisch kann man auf das Meer schauen, es war so schön!!!

Wir haben nur einen Wunsch für das nächste Mal… und das ist wirklich nur unser subjektiver Eindruck…. Aber wir finden die Temperatur des Pools hätte 2-3°C wärmer sein dürfen. Das ist wirklich jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau, ich weiß! Und wenn man es positiv betrachtet, kann man sich ja hinterher in die kuscheligen Bademäntel wickeln!
