Guihua Road 106th Hostel

Very lovely owner, helped us a lot with everything we needed. The most special is we could communicate in English without translator! She could booked the show and the parks in advance with discount! We would love to give her tip but she is so honest and wouldn't accept any tip as we felt bothered for all our requests.

This was by far the best stay I've had in a long time, the owner is sooooo sweet and helped us plan our best routes every day, and if we would've had questions or gotten lost she would have been available at all times on wechat as well to help us. She made it feel like a home and we would absolutely stay here again when we come back, which we are planning to. The rooms are very spacious and the mattresses lovely and firm which is exactly what you need after very long days of hiking. Sorted my back right out. Stayed here for half a week.

Furniture and sanitary is are slightly worn out.

The staff were friendly and the location was a short walk to town centre.

The cleanliness of the bathroom was the main issue, you could tell it had not had a proper clean in a very long time, with mould and soap scum and hair everywhere. The bathroom made us feel like we needed to have another shower after using the bathroom because it was so dirty. The bathroom also had a weird smell that would go through the room (not pleasant). If they spent a little more time on doing a proper deep clean on the rooms it would be much better. We stayed when there was construction just outside the hotel so alot of noise early morning and late arvo which is completely out of the hostels control which is fine.
