No OTT channels. No heating boules. No kettle.

It is a family owned property and I simply loved it! I enjoyed the proximity to both Zurich, just a 20-minute drive away, and the Black Forest, which was only a 5-minute drive. It offers excellent value for money, especially when comparing accommodation prices in Germany to those in Switzerland.

Friendly and helpful Staff who prepared an off menu meal due to my late arrival. Also insisted I store my motorcycle in their locked garage.

Nice room and breakfast.

We chose the hotel for its restaurant however it was closed on that Saturday evening as they were catering an event outside. It would have been nice to receive an e-mail about it as we really chose that place for its restaurant. When we arrived the reception was closed, we could not find our way inside so we had to call, they told us to go to the back of the hotel and there we found an envelope with our name and room number. We were a bit surprised and for a welcome, that was a bit cold. Once again, an email of information beforehand mentioning how to proceed for check-in and what to expect would have been nice. We did not know what time was the checkout and for breakfast, nobody came to check on us and tell us anything, the whole staff was just too busy with the restaurant (separate from the breakfast area) and the outside people coming for a brunch. So it is a nice place but a little customer care would be highly appreciated.
