Practical and affordable hotel in the centre of Kassel, no extensive frills but also no frustration. Correct, solid, and price/quality definitely works. Public parking pretty much next door, so you can get there with your fast or slow car, and be certain you can park.

Reception was friendly, but they do present as if you're in a risky part of town (the kind of setup where they make sure you can't pull them across the desk). I did not have the impression that it is a risky part, but maybe they do have negative experiences with confused people walking in. Just doesn't feel nice though. No breakfast option, but they point at options at two minutes walk. We had a very good breakfast!
