The Hotel is older but was immaculate and is right on the river - I think the receptionist took pity on a sweaty biker and gave us a huge room overlooking the river with a super comfy bed. Easy 20 minute walk along the river into the old town. What a breakfast !! the most colourful of our trip. Beautifully presented array of so many fresh fruits, unusually including figs redcurrants, blueberries, mango - plus all the cheeses salads and fish & breads. Not so many cakes which was quite welcome as we were at the end of our trip! Bike was safe in a spot outside. The students of Heidleberg (on a Friday night ) are a credit to their Uni. Lovely to see all ages out along the river bank on a summers evening - with no mess or litter left behind ( sadly unlike UK)

We only had one night here sadly, we'd have liked to have stayed longer.

What did I like? So many things were perfect. The location and views from the room are unbeatable. I spent about 4 hours researching hotels in Heidelberg and selected this one. It was spot on. The room and bathroom was huge. The beds were super comfortable. The breakfast spread was grand. Car parking was convenient. But the thing that won my heart was the Air conditioning. It was the best I have experienced in my travels to Europe. Kudos to this hotel for making my stay comfortable.

🌸Besonders frische Rohkost, phantasievoll angerichtet. 🌸Super freundliche, hilfsbereite Angestellte rundum. 🌸eine Klimaanlage, welche funktioniert.

🌸Wenig Abwechslung für Kost vegan. Diesbezüglich kein Service ,besonders von der Leitung aus, trotz schriftlicher Anmeldung. Auch nach täglichem mündlichen Wunsch , keine Bereitschaft. 🌸Auf Flur und im Zimmer übler Geruch.
