although the title Merkur led us to believe it was the chain, it wasn't. Still it did not stop us enjoying the short stay. The building is old in the style of the East German buildings but everything we wanted was there. Having phoned ahead to inform them that we were delayed due to a bomb scare enroot we arrived and booked in the only person on duty went home leaving us and the other occupants in the locked building although we had keys to get in and out. After a good nights sleep we had an excellent Breakfast then set off for the nearby railway station. would I stay here again? Yes.

The host Jorg could not do enough for this allowed us to park the motorbikes in his garage. He also provide us with directions and train times. The hotel is older but very good value for money with excellent service. I would thoroughly recommend Paul
