What an absolutely delightful place to stay just an hour outside of Munich. A quaint town, walking distance to the iconic Andech monestary/brewery. Comfortable large apartment for very reasonable price. Personal and friendly staff, impeccable fine dining…nothing to not love.

The location was perfect for our purpose: visiting the Abbey and brewery in Andechs. The amenities of Hotel Bernhardof were a superb unexpected bonus. Underground spacious parking, what's not to like! The room was, without a doubt, the most well designed, artistic and creative space we stayed in during our 2 week journey. Dinner at the hotel was creative and delightful while breakfast was simple & delicious. We met and engaged with many staff members and all of them went overboard to be pleasant and helpful.

Great coffee! Well, that was actually just a bonus. Truly great hosts, great location, amazing facility, so much to do a see. As cyclists and hikers, we definitely did both right out of the lodging. Oh, I should mention the young woman who worked at the breakfast room was truly sweet and professional -- thumbs up for her.

It would have been nice to get on the S-Bahn in Andechs, but that is only a wish. Honestly, there isn't any real downside for this place.
