Sehr nettes Personal, mein Fahrrad wurde abends vom Personal in den abgeschlossenen Hinterhof gestellt!

Die Lage ist sehr günstig. Die italienische Mitarbeiterin ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Man sollte sich bloß nicht darüber beschweren, dass die Dusche nicht richtig funktioniert, über die ungemütliche durchgesessene alte Matratze, dass das Zimmer staubig war (zugegebenermaßen nicht dreckig, nur an manchen Stellen staubig). Denn dann muss man sich vom Personal sagen lassen, dass man dreist sei und viel zu hohe Erwartungen habe. Schließlich hat man „nur“ 65€ für ein Einzelzimmer pro Nacht gezahlt, bei der tollen Lage (in Kehl, wow). Zunächst habe ich gedacht, vielleicht hatte der Mann sogar recht. Aber die darauffolgende Nacht habe ich genau das gleiche für ein geräumiges Doppelzimmer in der Straßburger Innenstadt(!) gezahlt. Wunderschön und ohne Mängel. „I rest my case“.

It is difficult to find the entrance. The door toward the reception is locked until 7 am, and I was a little bit confused by how to check-out. I left the key in the room, and there was no problem.

The room was clean with everything needed for sleeping. There is a desk with a chair and enough space to store luggage. The building is located right on the main street in Kehl 5 min from the train station, from which it takes 20 min by tram to reach the Strasbourg city center.

The bathroom is very small. The door just about closes without bumping into the edge of the sink. It is uncomfortable to use the toilet because the side of your leg is pressed to the cold wall... Also, to get to the supermarkets such as Aldi and Rewe, you have to walk about 20 mins and those streets get empty and dark in the evening.
