The staff was very friendly, the hotel has convenient and accessible parking, and the adjunct restaurant with beer garden is very convenient. The rooms are super clean and clearly care went into decorating.

Our first night was unfortunately severely interrupted due to the metal bed frame being somewhat instable. The owner right the way agreed to change our room and worked on fixing the bed, but we still struggled with getting good rest. The new room was a ground floor apartment, it was very warm, but leaving the window open meant quite some noise from playing children, the (very early) garbage collection and some repairs/garden works. Nothing crazy, but given that we specifically looked at a quiet place, the direct proximity to train and these other noises were a little unexpected. Coming from a hospitality family myself, I also was surprised to see that the hotel staff refused to help arrange a taxi for our non-German speaking friends. They were given business cards and told to arrange it themselves as taxi drivers "can be flaky" and the staff does not want the responsibility as middle man. Given the language barrier, but also the lack of local knowledge, that is something I never experienced. Lastly, a (very minor) comment that moves a hotel experience from "very good" to "excellent" for me. We stayed in the hotel for our wedding. It would have been nice to see this very special occasion acknowledged by the hotel staff with a heart-shaped folded towel or a little card. Again, not a must off course, but something that we would have truly appreciated.

Great family room up to 6 people. And an excellent restaurant!

We expected the restaurant to be open. After a long ride and late arrival we wished to have a quick meal in the hotel/restaurant and call it a day. Now we had to try our luck somewhere else among the sparsely available options, it took us an extra hour to get food on the table (because that restaurant was still busy at 9PM). Every landlord deserves a vacation. No discussion there. But every visitor deserves to know that you're closed for holidays. They should have given us a notice, so we could have anticipated their closure.

Excellent value for money

Great restaurant for fantastic burger and beer. Room had an awesome view. Shower was great. Comes with a heater that was absolutely necessary. Bed was comfy.

Require to carry luggage up the stairs. Road closure right in front of the accomodation.

Lovely family run hotel near the centre of town. Kind , helpful, host . Spotlessly clean , lovely bathroom . Good parking.

Unfortunately we were there on a Monday when the restaurant was closed . Luckily there is a very good Indian restaurant in town and we had a lovely curry.

Staff was super helpful and accomodating

Most impactful point for me is always the shower. This one leaked into the bathroom and the entire room was under water quickly. Also hot water was limited and just depleted at some point. The location is curently heavily impaired by the roadwork, there is only one Taxi enterprise in the town and drivers from apps like freenow will simply decline coming over from Wiesbaden to fetch you, so you better bring your own wheels.
