Hotel Volcano Baños

Everything was fine. no complaints

It was beautifully landscaped, has a PERFECT view of the waterfall 🤩, was CLEAN, smelled wonderful and was well taken care of.

We had to pay 15 dollars for the pet, which is much higher than other places

I got the room with the second floor but the stairs were a bit dangerous for my kids. Other than that, eveything was good.

Beds were firm, bathroom was small and dated, thin walls/noisy in mornings with lots of voices in the hallway

Cold showers! We stayed for two nights and got no hot water from the shower. Safe was not working. This is not a negative, but worth noting that none of the staff speak any English, so attempts to resolve the above issues were difficult with our limited Spanish!

The stay here was amazing. Beds were comfortable amd clean. The breakfast tasty and fresh fruits.

This is one of the nicer, more comfortable hotels in Baños - there aren't many. The wifi had gone out in the city due to a storm which created problems for us as we needed to work. Of course that's not the hotel's fault. But the family who runs the place felt bad and was kind of enough to discount our room and offered us to-go breakfast and coffee the next day which we really appreciated. That's above and beyond service.
