Hotel Molino De Saydo

The room was spacious, as was the whole hotel, and yet, cozy. Beautiful authentic decor of it's day, with more than a nod to the area's agricultural past. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. It felt just like being with your family

The beds were extremely firm, which, for some people, would be fine. Unfortunately I need a softer mattress.

The hotel is lovely; it is spacious and has a fabulous internal patio and pleasant outdoor sitting areas and a good library. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The directions I followed via a GPS from Booking.Com took me on a cross country ride through olive groves. After my 3rd attempt to find the hotel I rang the hotel and the chap on reception talked me through the right route. he was really splendid.

The room had no glass to drink water from , no coffee facilities (or vending machine in the entire hotel) . Breakfast is served from 8am and I needed to leave at 7 45. the staff regretted they could not make a coffee before that time. Also there are no hooks to hang clothes on in the bathroom so when the seal on the shower door perrished and the bathroom flooded my things got soggy. In fairness to the member of staff I reported this to he was very apologetic and mortified.

Fernendo the hotel owner is the most amazing host I have ever met. Warm, kind and so welcoming and even chilled with us and made us the best salami, ham and cheese for a welcome!

The property is great - silent and chilled and such good heritage and tradition

We had Spanish breakfast, which was very nice. Coffee superb. The Hotel is quite tired although built in 1986, its modelled on a much older Spanish style. The room was very clean and the whole public areas where spotless too. There is off road parking (Free).

Lack of complimentary toiletries, only sachets of gel/shampoo, no hand soap!! Outside our window was a patio area with table/chairs right underneath, so noisy when guests using.

So quaint yet spacious. Huge book exchange library.

The food at the only restaurant which is at the pool bar, was sub par.
