Hotel La Brasa

Very clean and well presented. Welcoming and helpful staff.

Couldn’t cater for gluten free.

- 'Free breakfast' is just a coffee and two small pieces of toast. - Staff lock the front door in the evening and the key doesn't open it, so I thought I was locked out. You can get in round the back, but the staff don't tell you this. - Surprisingly long way from Velez de Benaudalla, if you're walking it's 20 mins and part of that is along a busy main road with no lighting after dark.

A great hotel on the highway heading North, so out of the town centre. Very friendly staff, secure bicycle storage. It has a restaurant serving all day from 7am as it gets both the local early workers and bikers passing through, the food is good.

Breakfast from 7am (included) is great for an early start, but it was a bit basic, just a coffee and a sandwich.

Location was fine. Choice of breakfast items was extremely limited. Virtually, a snack & coffee. The coffee was good.

If one is going to call something "breakfast" it should, at the very least offer traditional breakfast items - bread, toast, muffins (or similar) - all we were offered was coffee and a choice of pre-packed biscuits.

Simple room but with a surprisingly comfortable bed, good memory foam mattress and pillow. Updated and clean bathroom, great water pressure. East parking as it's a roadside hotel. It's not a destination, just an overnight stop for a good night's sleep. There is a restaurant/bar on site which seems to be the main business while the hotel rooms are secondary.

Room was very small (single). But it was all I needed.

Second time I stayed at this hotel, all staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and professional… I will definitely use the hotel again…

Cannot think of anything as it suited my requirements perfectly….

It is a budget hotel, but great value for money paid, staff were very helpful and let me park my bike around the back of the hotel
