Mas des Herbes Blanches Hôtel & Spa – Relais & Châteaux

The hotel was stunning and we had a wonderful stay. The setting is stunning, close to some of the beautiful hilltop villages. The pool area was lovely and the Spa was exceptional. Breakfast was fantastic, and overall I found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with the restaurants (see below), which would stop me staying here again.

The restaurants were really disappointing. There is an informal restaurant (Le Bistrot du Mas) which is entirely outdoors, and then a formal dining restaurant (Le Table du Mas) We ate at both and I didn't feel either were up to the standard of the hotel itself. The food at the bistro was average, and the service quite slow. There is no option but to eat outside and unfortunately it did become quite cold in the evenings (we were there mid-June). Le Table du Mas poses as a fine dining restaurant, with prices to match. The food was good but not exceptional, and the service was not up to the standard I would expect in a restaurant like this. The room itself was a large hall-type room- think wedding venue-which unfortunately lacked atmosphere. Part of the reason we chose this hotel was to have restaurants onsite as we did not want to drive in the evening, so this was disappointing. The housekeeping was slightly lacking- Aside from the bed being made you wouldn't have noticed anyone had been in. We asked for cold milk to have with the coffee making facilities in our room as no milk was provided. On check out we realised we were charged for this, which feels a little stingy!

We had ca beautiful terrace and the whole property was well maintained. The poof, the breakfast, the staff.. everything is a 5 star experience. Location was amazing for visiting most of the cities in Provence

Très beau séjour au Mas des Herbes Blanches. L’hôtel est superbe, parfaitement entretenu et d’une grande propreté. Le cadre est magnifique, propice à la détente, avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le Luberon. Un grand merci à l’ensemble du personnel, toujours souriant, disponible et aux petits soins tout au long du séjour. Leur professionnalisme et leur gentillesse contribuent largement à la qualité de l’expérience.

restaurant La Guinguette. La qualité est au rendez-vous, mais les tarifs nous ont semblé assez élevés au regard de la taille des portions servies.
