If I was to be honest very little the meals were very good but that was something paid for separately

There was very little head room to stand because it was in the attic I bang my head several times and the only way to stand up straight was to put my head in the window area to avoid bang my head on the ceiling while using the toilet. This was a room more for a student then for a person in there 60's,

Rooms good value and had everything required. Restaurant also good and handy.

Toilet over the hallway a little inconvenient. Parking tricky when busy as it’s just by traffic lights

Clean and comfortable with welcoming and friendly staff.

I was unfortunate to stay on a Monday night, the one night of the week that the restaurant is closed. After a long day, I had been looking forward to checking in and unwinding, rather than having to go back out to choose from the various takeaway options (admittedly nearby). Also disappointed that breakfast is only available at weekends, although I suspected that may be the case when I booked.

We wanted to stay above an authentic pub and that’s exactly what we accomplished. The room was extremely comfortable. The beds were soft, clean and comfortable with nice pillows and bedding. The shower had amazing pressure. The room was stocked with essentials. We went down an evening to lively, fun pub atmosphere. Nextdoor at Lawson is an amazing place to grab some authentic Scottish Takeaway. Behind the pub is a lovely nature walk along a beautiful stream.

A little mini fridge in the room would be wonderful
