Great location and beautiful surroundings

Rooms were a bit shabby and dark

The property is full of character and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed

Staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating

the room was very dark which made it hard to get ready in the morning. (putting on makeup etc)

A comfortable stay. The room and bathroom were spacious, comfy bed and we had a lovely evening meal. The staff are very welcoming and attentive.

The hotel needs a sprucing up. Tired and worn decor in the bar area, Carpet stains in the room and minimal toiletries provided (hand-wash and shampoo).

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was really good 😄 and the room was very nice. Would definitely come back and stay here again!

Nice room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Had a meal in the restaurant and the main was well cooked. Staff were nice.

We stayed as attending a wedding nearby. We enquired about an iron on arrival and it was confirmed there was one in the room. On the morning of the wedding my partner went to use it to find it wasn’t working. Informed staff who said they’d be up in half an hour to fix it as no alternative available- they never came to fix it. Thankfully he had another shirt that he was able to wear. Had a meal in the restaurant that was okay - main was excellent but starters disappointing. Food a bit over priced in my opinion and prices online were different to those in the restaurant.

The staff, were truly brilliant, the property was a perfect small venue for a small wedding, rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable the bathroom was really roomy.

The restaurant, food and staff were excellent, it was great to have such a large outdoor seating area too while the weather was nice. Great shower and was pleased to find an ironing board plus hair dryer already in the room, no need to go searching for either at reception.

The bedroom was extremely dark and hot, the small window didn't let in much air, and the beds weren't the comfiest. The wifi was poor, nearly non-existent in the rooms which, given the already limited 4G/5G and phone signal in the area, was inconvenient when trying to communicate and arrange plans with the larger group we were travelling with.
