Staff were amazing

The bathroom in the room smelt strongly like a sewer or drain so much we avoided the bathroom as much as possible. Seemed to come from shower drain, covered the drain and ran the extraction fan all night and by morning was bearable but still gross.

The carpark, nice and convenient with plenty of spaces. Garden was lively. Decor inside was very nice.

Food for breakfast and dinner was not cooked to the standard we would expect. Bed was quite uncomfortable. Bedroom was dusty. Could benefit from some information in the room regarding heating, local area etc. Carpet in the lounge/bar area under the tables had not been cleaned from the previous evening.

The cleaning team, the staff were quite okay and services were good.

The rugs in the room were quite bad and needs a change. It was smelling of damp. The heating system never worked for the 3 night we stay and my family stay in the cold. The hotel need renovation.

Just a short walk to the town. Spacious room. Excellent breakfast and we had dinner there which was also very good. Staff were friendly. Good free parking. Good refurbished bathroom in our room.

It's an old place which is a little run down overall.

The whole experience was excellent from the staff who were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and everything was easy access. The food was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough to make your stay a good experience.
