Lovely large room and very quiet when I stayed there. Good choice of breakfasts

The room was tastefully decorated, spacious, calm and very clean.

Excellent friendly welcome. Lovely room and facilities. Pool provided although we didn't use it. Evening meal was excellent. One of the best hotel experiences that i have had.

room number 2 is your standard double room. Adequate but I found it incredibly difficult to wash my hair as shower head was so low down and I’m only 5’5” tall. the main issue was that the room is right over the kitchen area talking loudly laughing banging around all evening , so didn’t get a wink of rest until 11.45pm when they quietened down( only reason it quietened down this time and not later time was that the bar / food area only had about 7 guests in it during early evening) . I had been awake since 5.30am that morning so was shattered the following morning. mentioned it to manager but no apologies - just a comment saying BUT ONCE YOU WENT OFF TO SLEEP DID U SLEEP OK? the food expansive in restaurant ( probably why it was almost empty). I had soup as it was £8 ! I wasn’t very hungry anyway to be fair . came with a nice roll and some prawn crackers however. £25 for an average breakfast. very overpriced to stay here.

A very large and comfortable room with a sitting area accessed by stairs, and a lobby that contained a fridge and microwave; the excellent shower room is off this lobby. The accommodation is housed in what was once a stable that has been carefully restored and refurbished. The hotel has a swimming pool and is set in interesting grounds with a pond and wild life areas. The cooked breakfast is good, though jam/marmalade/marmite with the toast would have been appreciated.

The hotel is set on a side road off the A47, and is not obvious from the main road in the dark. A signpost (preferably illuminated) would have prevented the marital disharmony caused by our overshooting the turn off!

The owners/staff were very friendly and helpful. was a shame we only stayed for 1 night. Our accommodation was upgraded which was a nice surprise. Our daughter loved the pool too. Beautiful lake also.

The staff were excellent, wifi worked well for video calls, clean room, amazing food and good knowledge of coeliac disease gluten free food.

The shower in the room - there was no hook in the wall so you couldn't actually have a shower. You had to sit/stand in the bath and hold it. The breakfast service was also great but did not open till 8.30 which is pretty late.
