The Royal Lion Hotel

The bathroom was modern and clean and tidy, the hotel overall was lovely. In a great location. Breakfast was good, plenty of options and all nicely presented. Personally I struggle digestively with "commercial bread" I would have liked to have had a sourdough or similar bread, but that's a niche "me" problem.

The bed wasn't the comfiest, we found the bed a bit too soft and the pillows a bit too hard and the duvet was too thick for the time of year.

Car parking facility. We were able to leave our car in the car park before check in enabling us to visit the beach and shops. Room exceeded expectations, stylish modern design complete with wonderful sea view from balcony.

We were completely satisfied with everything about our stay. Excellent value for money.

Location a short walk down to the sea front

The parking when booking is not mapped it’s turn up and find it in a very busy street, the ventilation system in the bathroom wasn’t working, the only cup in the room for a coffee in the morning was dirty! But the worst was some air or boiler system outside my room kept me up all night!!! And to just top it all of after spending £105 for one night I found a hair in my breakfast , I can see why the hospitality section is struggling and it’s not the economy, if they offer you room 26 DON’T TAKE IT! Unless ear plugs provided 🙄

The room was stunning and the location of the hotel could not have been more perfect.
