"The place has a lovely old nautical atmosphere, with paintings and photos of sailing ships."

Friendliness of the staff, nice soft carpeting on stairs, quiet and peaceful with great views across the harbour, comfy beds, good selection of teaa, coffees and biscuits in the rooms and a great power shower!

"Amazing view"

Had a little problem with the bathroom which was immediately rectified. The view from Room 2 was lovely. The staff, especially Vicky/Nicky sorry can't remember was fantastic!

The decor was a little shabby, could do with a spruce up. And the walk up the stairs to the room was hard - but feel fitter than ever 🤣

Really great stay overall! Lovely hotel, great warm welcome from the offset. The room had a fantastic view—definitely a highlight. Waking up in the morning and looking right over the harbour from the room windows made the whole experience feel more special. The location is also perfect, shops, restaurants, pubs, all within easy walking distance. It made getting around super convenient. Perfect car park location too about 30 second walk away. Would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to others!

"Room with a view"

Room was very clean with amazing view. Staff were very polite, friendly, helpful and were on the case and turned round a couple of things that were not as they should be really well.
