Kevin made us feel at home when we arrived from Oughtershaw walking the Dalesway. By the river so with window we could hear the nearby stream. Good food especially the lamb stew and a great variety of Indian and vegetarian dishes.

Good size comfortable room. Really enjoyed the evening meal - interesting and very good selection of curries. Very good breakfast

Breakfast table too cramped for four Landlord seemed resentful of guests using other pubs and restaurants More than one instance of twin and double room mix ups

Location is lovely . The downstairs part of the pub is was you expect , lovely old charm .

Male downstairs toilet wasn’t clean . The whole accommodation is extremely in need of deep clean and updating .
