The Racehorses Hotel

FANTASTIC, ALL MEALS WHERE VERY TASTY AND OF GO PORTIONS. QUAILITY FOOD LIKE LURPACK AND JAMS. SASUAGE WAS TASTY. THEY WHERE ALL HAPPY TO HELP AND ACCOMODATED IF TIME NEEDED TO BE CHANGED

DECO WAS A BIT OUT DATED BUT DID NOT SPOIL MY TIME. MAYBE MORE BICKIES AND MILK

Location

Bar staff were abrupt (other staff good). The bed mattress needed replacing and was uncomfortable. Bed held up with a wooden peg and no headboard. Shower hard to use and black mould around seals and under shower fixings.

The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. Yes the bar shut a little early, but that was fine. It’s an old world building with the ambience that matches I enjoyed it I would recommend it to anybody thank you

The friendly staff and a good food

We have been visiting the Racehorses for years now. It's great! Very welcoming and I'd highly recommend it.

Room with nice view of the hills and village. Nice to hear the gentle sound of water in the adjacent brook. Well designed window to give good ventilation in warm weather. Nice public house.

The hot water thermostatic valve to the bath and shower was almost totally seized up. On reporting it when leaving the landlord thought it just needed some twiddling. I think it needed a plumber to fit a new cartridge or new tap.

Lovely location. Staff very friendly. Excellent Timothy Taylors range and good tasting beer

The room provided - pet friendly - was not particularly nice. The furniture very dated, didn't match, old. Although bed comfy. Didn't feel it was worth £160 (£10 dog).
