Normandy Hotel (Near Glasgow Airport)

I wasn't there long but first impressions were good. Clean room, everything u needed. Didn't see a photo when booking so surprised how large it was

Great shower, comfortable bed, fantastic staff members who were extremely helpful. I loved the entrance and reception to the hotel, it was very inviting. Plenty of parking was a bonus.

I can't think of a dislike. That's encouraging.

Convenient for airport and pick up

Breakfast was non existent. A coach party had perhaps emptied the buffet and it had not been replenished. Only one dirty mug was available. It seemed that the staff were too busy clearing up to restock

Breakfast was not good at all, had to wait for more than 20 mins to get the food refilled. Lacks of eggs and basic items in the breakfast. Room had a awful smell, warm with broken shower in the bathroom. I asked for a laundry bag in the reception, not provided.

The bed was comfy, the staff were nice.

Booked 3 rooms, when we arrived one of our party went into their room to find the bed slept in and the room dirty. One room was a double with a cot for a baby. The bed was two single pushed together and the cot with disgusting with stains and holes. The rooms were dirty with the curtains hanging off and not big enough for the window and the lights not working.

Carpark is large and lots of parking spaces , Vending machine in lobby with cold drinks and snacks.

The room is really small as in my wife & I had to turn sideways to walk past each other. The bed is uncomfortable and you wake up sore.The walls are dirty and need painting , No socket at the bedside table , TV stations are all blurry as the signal is terrible.Large group of people caused some problems and the police needed to attend. ( Not the hotels fault ) as these things do happen.The bathroom is old and in need of an upgrade to be fair the whole hotel needs upgrading.However for the price we paid it was good value for money.
