Excellent location. Clean and comfortable

Close to Monteverde Institute which was great for short trails with donation and chance to see wildlife. Friendly host. Well appointed kitchen. Bird life around the property. Close to Curichanga reserve which was great for birdwatching and the informative good value guided tour in the morning enabled further self exploration that day. Good hummingbird spot.

Porch of studio faces building work rather than garden. Not necessarily a negative but walk to S Elena is 45 mins up and down to decent supermarket. Great exercise, good views and until the final bit near the property well lit at night, so torch worthwhile

The location of Monteverde House was perfect, very close to the Cloud Forest and other Reserves and attractions. The home was clean, quiet, and comfortable and had everything we needed. Communication was great! We had a beautiful view on our patio to have our coffee or evening wine(both provided along with fresh fruit). Great food within walking distance. I wish we would have booked it longer, such a wonderful experience!

Zeer aangename behulpzame gastheer en gasvrouw. Net iets verder van het centrum van monteverde. Wel op te vangen via vlotte goedkope uberdiensten Zeer goede prijs kwaliteitsverhouding. In de tuin aapjes toekan en agueti gespot, mede met dank aan een waakzame gastheer.

Waterstraal van de douche was iets te zwak

This is a super location but 4 wheel drive recommend to climb the driveway, especially if wet weather. Huge room with kitchen and washing machine. Big comfortable bed.

Probably not an issue 90 percent of the time but some minor construction noise starting around 8 am on the building across the yard. Intermittent cut saw but still probably saw less birds because of it. Did see parrots and Toucan (in fact the construction guy is who came over and pointed out the Toucan to us). Hostess is wonderful, helpful, and just super.

Clean. Well equipped. Quiet. Wonderfully helpful hostess. She gave me great ideas for events each day and made the reservations - all gratis! Would stay again.

It did a bit cool at night. Blankets sufficient. No heaters.
