Cozy and cute hotel on a beautiful location. I was very happy with the room and slept very well.

Best hotel in Bamstedt !

The room was brand new so it was nice.

Someone was using a chainsaw very early in the morning on the grounds.

Room was comfy and clean, check-in and check-out were fast and uncomplicated. The staff were really helpful when we needed to order taxis (which proved quite tricky due to limited taxi availability in the area). The location was nice and the bar and terrace had pleasant views overlooking the lake. The path to walk around the lake was right outside the hotel entrance. We didn't try the breakfast nor order any drinks but the bar area looked like it was a nice place to dine or drink.

The room was described as having a 'garden view' which wasn't the case. The view outside the window was of a row of trees that backed onto a path. We didn't book the room for the view, but the description was a bit misleading. There was a loud party taking place on Saturday night in the bar area. We got back late (at around 1pm) and the party continued for a good hour or more. Although the soundproofing in the room was good, we could still hear the music and party-goers - light sleepers could have been disturbed by this level of noise.
