Nice accommodation in the old Vila house with modern room and friendly staff. Big bed with good mattress. Small fridge, cattle and toiletries. Breakfast buffet including in the price. Quite location on the north of Erlangen, close to the city center. Warm room after the big radiator heats up. No problem with finding free parking place on the next street.

Missing clothing cabinet to storage clothes other than wardrobe with hangers. Older (brown style) bathroom with noisy fan. Classic wood windows with problematic opening. Limited / poor breakfast buffet. Little bit far from the Framatome / Siemens campus. Cold room (18°C) first night before the big radiator heats up. Mostly occupied parking places in the front of Vila.

Hotel in quite neighbourhood, friendly family Glass and large autentic rooms. Free bike rent makes the hotel close to city centre and restaurants. Nice European breakfast. The hotel has free Wlan, but its working a bit slow. The really good beds and charming rooms makes Villa Glas a nice place to stay.

I’d chosen this option as I thought I’d get a good traditional experience. Sadly the experience was anything but that. The Hotel is located at a fair distance from the city centre, making the commute really difficult. There is no laundry service, which is a basic requirement for any hotel catering to business customer. The breakfast has an extremely poor spread. I’d ordered a coffee in the morning which never arrived. . . They dont have in-room dining. Further, if you are not German, be cautious as the owners would try and tell you ridiculous rules that do not exist. I was told to pay for the entire booking, as i wanted to check-out earlier because of the shambolic condition of the hotel. All in all, a place to avoid ! A definite no for a business traveller. . .
