Hotel Elorrio

The hotel is beautiful and very well kept in all respects

The dinner menu was very short and of appalling quality.

La ducha tenía una mampara que no cubría todo el largo de la ducha, por lo que el agua caía al suelo. Y una curiosidad: la pueta del baño pegaba la taza del wc al abrirla, y aunque se había fijado un tope en el suelo para evitar este choque, seguía ocurriendo porque el tope fijado en el suelo era tan pequeño que no llegaba a sostener la puerta.

Comfortable, quiet accommodation. Room very large, with a nice mountain view. Excellent walk-in shower. Cafe available for light breakfast and snacks. The staff here were wonderful, when I needed help after a cycling accident! Elorrio is an interesting and attractive small town.

Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, die Betten sind bequem und ein sauberes Bad.

Die Lage (Straße und Kirche) ist nicht optimal

Good value hotel just under an hour from Bilbao ferry port, so ideal as a final stay. Wonderful that reception let us use their car park for our 6 motorcycles. Good shower.

It lacks any character, particularly the main areas which lack any ambience, and the rooms are tired. The dinner offering wasn’t very good, with a very limited and uninspiring choice of dishes, albeit fair value. Starters were basic and 1 chicken dish had literally 5 small chips, and the liver was well overcooked. Desserts were all decidedly average.
