Unique hotel in a tiny Andalusian village - as authentic as it gets.

It's a bit hard to carry heavy luggage all the way up to the 3rd floor (where our room was)... but consider it some kind of work-out (for free).

attractive old building with interesting corners. I had good views of the village and countryside. The double bed was comfortable and the chambermaid caring. it’s only 5 min walk from the bus stop. I had a good meal at the restaurant belonging to the hotel. There is a wealth of brochures on villages in the Axarquia.There are board games provided.

The bathroom is two very steep steps up from the room.There was nowhere safe to boil the kettle. 4 tea bags, a sugar and no milk.There were 3 flights of steps to reach my room and I had to go down 2 to reach the fridge.

Breakfast was good. The location was exactly what I needed and in the center of Canillas de Albaida.

The reception desk was only manned very infrequently.

Everything was great Staff very friendly and welcoming, as was the owner also Food superb, could not fault it. 😊

There was nothing not to like.
